Cashless Service

Torbay Harbour Authority and Beaches are transitioning to a cashless service across all offices, quaysides, and beaches. This will cover, among other things, visitor charges, launch and recovery, electric, and short-term beach hut hires.

This change will apply from Monday 14th April. Our goal is to streamline operations, improve the safety of our staff and the service efficiency.

Seagrass Moorings

From 11 April 2025

Mariners are advised that a group of ten seagrass friendly moorings are to be set off Broadsands Beach, Tor Bay by the workboat AGWI on Monday 14th April 2025.

Mariners are requested to keep clear of this vessel whilst it is working in this area and pass at a slow speed to minimise wash.

Once these works have been completed the moorings will be available for use to prevent damage to the nearby seagrass beds. Information will be attached to the buoys for reference.
