Tor Bay Harbour

An increasing number of Cruise Ships now feature Tor Bay in their cruising itinerary. The English Riviera has so much to offer the passing tourist and Torquay is strategically placed for various cruises - Round Britain, Trans-Atlantic and European positioning, 100 nautical miles from Southampton and 200 nautical miles from Dover.

Ships generally anchor approximately ½ mile South West of Torquay Harbour, with tenders landing at Torquay. Passengers disembark on Beacon Quay or Haldon Pier and can sample the delights of local shops and cafes or opt for range of interesting coach excursion options.

Golden Horizon attracts like-minded adventure seekers for a sailing experience which allows guests to connect with the elements of the natural world.

The Golden Horizon will leave Dover and sail to Cowes on the Isle of Wight, home to the famous sailing regatta, they'll then sail to the seaside town of Torquay in the English Riviera (on the 2nd August from 9am-18:00pm) where guests can admire the busy harbour and spectacular coastline before returning to Harwich.
