From 24 December 2018 until 31 December 2019
Mariners are advised that works will be commencing on the installation of sea defences at the bull nose end of Victoria Breakwater Brixham and thereafter working towards the shore on the seaward side in January 2019 by contractors.
For the duration of these works a temporary mooring has been deployed in the form of large unlit yellow buoy approximately 800m offshore East of Fishcombe Point in position.
There are currently no restricted areas in force but this may change once work has commenced, further Harbour Master Notices will notify of any future changes.
Landing craft and barges will be working in this area, all mariners are advised to keep clear of operations at all times. Workboats will be keeping a continuous listening watch on VHF channel 14 and 16.
All vessels will display appropriate day marks and lights and will be restricted in their ability to manoeuvre.
Mariners are also reminded that the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea will apply at all times during this operation.
